Sustainable Creative Tourism for Fulfilling the Gap between Tourists’ Expectation and Perception towards Tourism Routes in the Upper Greater Mekong Subregion

Abstract
The purposes of this research are to study tourists’ satisfaction level towards sustainable creative tourism, which is calculated by comparing the difference between expectation and perception, to understand the effect of tourists’perception toward sustainable creative tourism on intention to revisit, and to compare tourists’ sustainable creative tourism perceptions among different visited countries along Upper Greater Mekong Subregion routes. The results showed that tourists has high satisfaction towards sustainable creative tourism, which can be explained by the greater score of perception in comparison with expectation score. Tourists’ perception toward sustainable creative tourism can predict intention to revisit. Tourists travelling in different countries had different overall perceptions towards sustainable creative tourism with statistical significance.
